Shadow of the colossus ps2 lukie7/31/2023 ![]() ![]() Beyond having a cool design, it's really fun figuring out how to get one over on him, knocking him from his high walls so you can jump down on his belly to deliver a fatal blow.Ĭenobia is the other smaller, tiger-like colossi you fight in Shadow Of The Colossus. One of the first headscratchers you come across in the game, Kuromori is a giant, laser-firing lizard trapped in an arena. While he lacks complexity, Valus is an overture to everything that Shadow Of The Colossus is, and it's a pretty good one too. And, to be fair, it is a pretty good first impression on behalf of Shadow Of The Colossus: the view of watching this giant but strangely beautiful monster step into view, and then the music kicking in. What's there to say about Valus, really? He gets props for being first. Pelgia is a fun, gimmicky fight that has you navigating an island-like Colossus by hitting its teeth (e11. That stone meat cleaver is pretty rad though. Unfortunately by this point, the variety of colossi you've fought (in the air, in the water, beneath the sands of a desert) make this fight seem stale. There's nothing wrong with Quadratus except he's kind of boring: he's simply a slighter bigger colossus than the one you're introduced to, and doesn't really offer you much outside of being a tutorial for navigating the larger scale colossi.Īrgus is easily one of the biggest colossi you fight, with you squaring off against him in an ancient, broken arena. It's also pretty annoying to find the right location on his back so he doesn't shake you while you try to stab him. And while his size might make him interesting at first, the fight is rather dull and tedious, with you tricking him into falling off a temple and then jumping on his back to stab him. Short, gimmicky, and anti-climatic, Phaedra feels like a missed opportunity more than anything else.Ĭelosia ultimately amounts to little more than a novelty: he's one of the two 'small' Colossi you fight. ![]() only for the fight to end in a quick round of hide and seek. It's a shame, given the impressive introduction as you ride up to see this massive stone horse come to life. In a game packed to the brim with impressive, and sometimes awe-inspiring boss battles, the 4th colossus is the only one that comes close to being a stinker. Which Colossi rises to the top? Read on to find out, wanderer. To celebrate the rerelease of one of our collective favorites, we ranked all of the colossi of the game from worst to best. The recent remaster serves as a reminder of why that is: this is a game of beauty and isolation, and, of course, of intense, epic battles with absolutely colossal beings. Few games from the past 20 years have earned as much universal praise as Shadow Of The Colossus, earning its place in the pantheon of gaming's best. ![]()

Gaga baby tracker7/31/2023 ![]() They have names like StoreOnce, StoreServ, StoreAll, StoreVirtual, StoreEasy and perhaps more coming. It also looked like a total rebranding of the HP storage products as well, with a big play on the word “Store”. Let’s hope that the new slew of HP storage products and technologies announced at HP Discover 2012 will lift them up. HP -11% decline is shocking to me, and given the woes after woes that HP has been experiencing, HP has not seen the bottom yet. Here’s a look at the Top 5 and the rest of the pack: The rest of the field, IBM and HP, recorded negative growth. NetApp, my “ little engine that could” seems to be running out of steam, earning only 0.9% growth. In the Top 5 external disk storage market based on revenue, only EMC and HDS recorded respectable growth, recording 8.7% and 13.8% respectively. And for the first time, 7,104PB was shipped! Yes folks, more than 7 exabytes was shipped during that period! With the Eurozone crisis, China experiencing lower economic growth numbers and the uncertainty in the US economic sectors, it is unbelievable that the storage market grew 24.4% y-o-y. But most impressive of all is how the storage market continue to grow despite very challenging and uncertain business conditions. The technology features were more like a follower, since every other storage vendor in town already has those features.Īnd when the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Disk Storage Systems Tracker for 3Q12 came out last week, I was reading in awe how impressive EMC was at the figures that came out. It has made some significant gains in technology such as Advanced Copy, Remote Copy, Thin Provisioning, and Eco-Mode, but I was unimpressed. I was given an Eternus storage technology update by the Fujitsu Malaysia pre-sales team more than a year ago. ![]() ![]() I would have expected Fujitsu to continue its impressive run and continue to capture more of the enterprise market, and yet it didn’t. We are not exactly out of the woods yet, given the Eurozone crisis, slowing growth in China and the little sputters in the US economy.īack in early 2012, Fujitsu has shown good signs of taking market share in the enterprise storage but what happened to that? In the last 2 quarters, the server boys in the likes of HP, IBM and Dell storage market share have either shrunk (in the case of HP and Dell) or tanked (as in IBM). ![]() The worldwide storage market is going through unprecedented change as it is making baby steps out of one of the longest recessions in history. ![]()

Godzilla save the earth ps2 youtube7/31/2023 ![]() ![]() I’m not going to lie this is the best looking title in our entire list, though I guess you wouldn’t expect anything else from the mighty PS4. Godzilla for the PS4 takes the 6th spot in this list of the best Godzilla games. ![]() It’s a fun brain-teaser of a game that is well worth a play, especially if you love all things fire-breathing dinosaurs and carnage. Ok, so this game doesn’t look impressive at all these days, but look past the graphics. Who knew a radioactive Kaiju could use its brain for solving conundrums like this? There’s a puzzle element to this game as players must smash items in the correct order. Godzilla must search for his sweetheart Minira over 49 levels.Įnter and exit levels through little doors, bashing monsters and climbing vines as you go. Weirdly, this Godzilla game has a bit of a love interest feel to it. So, make sure that you have a big imagination! Like Killer Instinct, this game boasts detailed character stills that pop up on the screen to give gamers an idea of the thing they’re fighting against. Hard to believe when you look at both the weird plasticine model above or the Pokemon-esque character below, isn’t it… It’s brutal, it’s loud, and it’s absolutely awesome! 13. Pull off terrifying moves to beat your opponent. Use cards, collect creatures, evlolve real monsters and not cutesy ones, and check up on stats in a monster encyclopedia… It’s got some Yu-Gi-Oh and Lost Kingdoms, one of the best Gamecube RPGs of all time In a way, this game does feel likea more brutal version of Digimon or Pokemon. So how does this work then? It’s not some monstrous Pokemon copy, is it? ![]() Godzilla Trading Battle is a Miscellaneous game, developed by Tao Human Systems and published by Toho, which was released in Japan in 1998. We’re talking Final Wars, Movie Studio Tour, Godzilla Generations the works! this game has all the best monsters from all the films and games. This Tao Human Systems title only ever came out in Japan, so yuo’ll need to pick up a Japanese PS1 if you want to join in the action.Īnd you 100% should. Godzilla Trading Battle is a game that you’ll have to head to Japan for… not literally obviously, though you could pick up one of these Pac-Man Pork Belly Buns while you’re there if you do. Godzilla looks more like Bob and Bub from Bubble Bobble than a dangerous monster on the DMG! 14. Graphically, it’s a little simple but still looks much better than the early GB titles. Just like Street Fighter or Tekken, all the different monsters that you can chose from boast different moves and fighting styles.Īt least you can play through the game multiple times and have a different feel every time! It’s a simple premise but one that’s hella-addictive. Pick a monster, battle other monsters, stop Space Godzilla. Play as Godzilla, Destroyah, and tonnes more infamous faces. There are ten different monstrous critters for you to chose from the Godzilla movies. In this story, SpaceGodzilla sends a crystal meteor hurtling towards the earth. Godzilla: Unleashed Double Smash kickstarts this list of the best Godzilla games of all time!Ī lot of the games below are side-scrolling titles, so you should probably get used to this right now before we get going. ![]()

To catch a thief7/31/2023 ![]() The Dodge family's misadventures on the road through Mexico are hilariously documented in How Green Was My Father (Simon & Schuster, 1947). Upon his release from active duty by the Navy in 1945, Dodge left San Francisco and set out for Guatemala by car with his wife and daughter, beginning his second career as a travel writer. ![]() With its subject matter and extremely evocative cover art on both the first edition dust jacket and the paperback reprint, this book remains one of Dodge's most collectible titles. Three more Whitney novels soon followed: Shear the Black Sheep (Macmillan, 1942), Bullets for the Bridegroom (Macmillan, 1944) and It Ain't Hay (Simon & Schuster, 1946), in which Whit tangles with marijuana smugglers. ![]() It was published by Macmillan in 1941 and he won five dollars from Elva. He drew on his professional experience as a CPA and wrote his first novel, Death and Taxes, featuring San Francisco tax expert and reluctant detective James "Whit" Whitney. His career as a writer really began, however, when he made a bet with his wife that he could write a better mystery novel than the ones they were reading during a rainy family vacation. In 1961, the Grabhorn Press published the play in a volume entitled Shakespeare in Bohemia. ![]() Another Dodge play, "Christmas Eve at the Mermaid," co-written by Loyall McLaren (his boss at McLaren, Goode & Co.), was performed as the Bohemian Club's Christmas play of 1940, and again in 1959. The prize-winning play, "A Certain Man Had Two Sons," was subsequently published by the Banner Play Bureau, of San Francisco. His publishing career began in 1936 when he won First Prize in the Northern California Drama Association's Third Annual One Act Play Tournament. The group was founded by George Henry Burkhardt (Dodge's brother-in-law) and performed exclusively at Macondria, a little theater located in the basement of Burkhardt's house at 56 Macondray Lane on San Francisco's Russian Hill. Naval Reserve, emerging three years later with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.ĭavid Dodge's first experience as a writer came through his involvement with the Macondray Lane Players, a group of amateur playwrights, producers, and actors whose goal was to create a theater purely for pleasure. After the attack on Pearl Harbor he joined the U.S. On July 17, 1936, he was married to Elva Keith, a former Macmillan Company editorial representative, and their only daughter, Kendal, was born in 1940. In 1934, he went to work for the San Francisco accounting firm of McLaren, Goode & Company, becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1937. Following George's death in an automobile accident, Maude "Monnie" Dodge moved the family (David and his three older sisters, Kathryn, Frances, and Marian) to Southern California, where David attended Lincoln High School in Los Angeles but did not graduate.Īfter leaving school, he worked as a bank messenger, a marine fireman, a stevedore, and a night watchman. Cryptomator mega7/31/2023 ![]() ![]() Register for an account and choose the free option, which it labels as their viewer. The free version does actually allow AES 128 encryption, it's just not immediately obvious when looking at their website.ĭownload and install the desktop software. You can schedule sync tasks in its premium version. I can't speak for rclone but Air Explorer doesn't sync in real-time you manually initiate a sync task. It will display multiple cloud accounts and your computer within a shared explorer window. ![]() If you did wish to stick with Veracrypt or Cryptomator I'd suggest using either rclone (command line tool) or Air Explorer which is GUI based and will provide multiple sync modes, including Mirror not offered by MEGAsync. I found Cryptomator more suitable for manual uploads of long term storage, where I had no need for regular access to individual files. I find it far more practical to use than Cryptomator (not tried Veracrypt) as each encrypted file resides in its normal folder, you have no need to create separate vaults. The free version encrypts at AES-128 while the premium version encrypts at AES-256 and will also allow file names to be encrypted if you wished. MEGA's version history is also fully supported. Each file is individually encrypted (you don't create vaults) and is auto synced by MEGAsync after it's saved and closed. If someone got Cryptomator or Veracrypt running fine w/ MEGA in a different way, feel free to tell the world here at least I'd be curious to know how you did it!ĪxCrypt encryption software works flawlessly with MEGA. It isn't convenient, but at least it syncs fine the container's folders + content, and doesn't crash.įor this reason I'll go on with Veracrypt only, even if it means a quick manual work at every boot. That means I need to check the container in MEGA's settings after every reboot in order to allow the sync again. However, since MEGA starts scanning before I mount the container, it can't find it (obviously), which automatically unchecks the box of that container in Settings>Syncs. The container and its content get synced fine - no crash. MEGA scans the drive, syncs the folders inside it but not their content (can see that through MEGA's browser extension). ![]() Tried to do so with both r/Cryptomator and r/VeraCrypt.Īfter mounting the encrypted drive, I add it for syncing in settings>syncs and check the box. I've been looking at having an encrypted folder on my C drive, and syncing it with MEGA (Selective Sync). ![]()

A hat in time mumble badge7/31/2023 ![]() Vanessa's Curse adds many new customization options, such as new flairs, dyes, outfits, stickers, a remix, and a Gothic Umbrella to replace the default Umbrella. Indeed, once Hat Kid and other players get teleported to Vanessa's mansion to steal her crowns, Vanessa will get angry, cursing some players into being her puppets to stop the other players from stealing her crowns. Wanting to spite Vanessa for locking him up years ago, the Snatcher forces Hat Kid to steal Vanessa's crowns (claiming she has one for "every day in the year"). The Snatcher tells the story to Hat Kid how he and Queen Vanessa were once in love as prince and princess and how Vanessa became insane and locked Snatcher up and destroyed Subcon Forest's village. If the player collects a high number of crowns, they may see a golden statue of Hat Kid and the Snatcher in the lobby, reading "Statue of the Collector" and then "Awarded to those who have collected a mountain's worth of the Cursed Queen's crowns." However, some players have reported not seeing the statue even after collecting at least 100 Crowns. It just- Yknow what I cant even- Alright time to go to the next one. Its nice to see how many photos one can fit into a console or computer. They can be traded with the Snatcher and the Badge Seller in the lobby for new customizations. Taking random photos in A Hat in Time is a great way to spend time after completing the game, or when you get the camera badge. The number of crowns gotten as a part of Snatcher's Minions and the number of souls cursed as a part of Vanessa's Puppets by a player during a match is added to their inventory. While the goal of Vanessa's Puppets is to tag all of Snatcher's Minions to be "cursed" to join Vanessa's Puppets, the goal of Snatcher's Minions is to collect a certain number of crowns around Vanessa's mansion.ĭepending on the number of players in a match, the amount of locations players can access and the amount of crowns Snatcher's Minions need to collect varies.Īlso depending how much time has past and how many players each team has, a roulette event can occur where a random side effect to one of the teams or the map itself will change to either favor one disadvantaged team or affect both teams neutrally. In a match, the players run around the mansion for 30 seconds as part of Snatcher's team (Snatcher's Minions) until 2 players are randomly chosen to be on Vanessa's team (Vanessa's Puppets). The Time Stop hat and all other badges (except specifically the Mumble, Mirror, Nostalgia, and Retro Badges) are not allowed for every player to avoid unfairness.Īfter an opening cutscene, the player is sent to a main lobby with other online players where they can access the tutorial and join a new match in Queen Vanessa's mansion. To avoid disadvantaging players who do not already have the Sprint Hat, Brewing Hat, Ice Hat, Dweller's Mask, and Hookshot Badge, the mode will give these players these exact items for rental to be used in this DLC only until the players obtain these items normally. ![]() Unlike other DLC content, no Time Pieces are needed in order to access Vanessa's Curse (in fact, you can do this at the very beginning of the game since the main room has no Time Pieces limitations). The game mode can be accessed by interacting with the TV in the main room. ![]()

Crystalmaker cry file7/31/2023 ![]() The Show Asymmetric Unit command has been added to the window toolbar's Range popup menu.Īn issue with the Leap Motion controller software and Windows XP has now been resolved.ģD Printing Support. Whilst both methods are equally valid, the new scheme ensures that the bent lattice is centred with respect to the starting conditions. The Selection > Bend command now uses the horizontal plot centre as its reference point, rather than the three-dimensional centre-of-gravity. This version includes a minor enhancement to the Bend command and the addition of a command to the toolbar Range menu. In this release we have streamlined the syntax checking for symmetry, relegating the warnings for non-standard spacegroup symbols to the Log - provided that the same input file contains a valid list of general equivalent positions (required, as part of the CIF file format, but occasionally ignored by third parties).ĬrystalMaker also now correctly handles the import of B iso values, which are converted to the more-generally-used U iso format, during thte import process. Improved the Relax Molecule command, with more sophisticated four-body potentials.Īn extremely-rare issue with reading CIF files which contain nested single quotes on the last line of the file, has been resolved. The Relax Molecule and Add Hydrogens commands are now enabled for the Demonstration version. This version includes a minor enhancement to the Relax Molecule command and a fix for reading certain CIF files. Note: You should use a floating-point number, not an integer - otherwise the file might be interpreted as a STRUPLO-format file and your "properties" will be ignored. This then allows you to display this value as an atom label. Instead of entering a site label as a character string (e.g., "T1"), you can enter a floating-point number (e.g., "0.1234"). ![]() The CrystalMaker Text format (CMTX) now allows you to load floating-point "properties" for each crystal site or atom. This feature should be useful to electron microscopists, who have to work with structure projections in two dimensions. This complements the displayed distance (in three-dimensions of the plot) which is also printed in the Log. The Bond Distance tool now prints the projected distance (in the plane of the screen) in the Log. The Crystal Editor now inherits unconventional spacegroup settings from the Spacegroup Browser correctly.įixed a possible crash when reading from a LAMMPS file with long atom label strings. ![]() The Synchronize command now correctly respects the plot range for crystal structures. ![]() The Relax Molecule command now displays an error if there are hidden atoms.įixed an issue with the Synchronize command due to incorrect site matching - sites are now matched correctly. This is now automatically corrected when reading the files into the program. Some older files were saved with their view directions inverted. Updated View Direction when loading a CrystalMaker binary file. Instead, vectors are plotted as defined by the input data, even if this means that some (extra-short) vectors will be hidden inside their host atom. ![]() When reading atom vector data ("AVEC" card) from a CrystalMaker text file, CrystalMaker no longer enforces a minimum vector length of 1.5 Å. Updated User's Guide, including notes on file synchronization and Apple's recent withdrawal of support for QuickTime for Windows. This version includes updated documentation, more-flexible import of atom vector data, plus bug fixes for the Synchronize command, the Crystal Editor and LAMMPS file import. Sorting has been made smarter in this version, taking account of numerical suffices so that numbered views are sorted in a more human-readable manner (e.g., "10" appears after "2" and not before). This used a straightforward string comparison (e.g., "alpha" comes before "zulu"). Earlier versions of CrystalMaker allowed sorting of views in ascending or descending order, using the view labels. This allows up to 1-million unique atom IDs (from 0 to 999,999). In this version, CrystalMaker detects possible label overflow and will either truncate the symbol (prefix) to one character, or omit it entirely. Unfortunately, CrystalMaker's 6-character label limit can mean that labels end up being truncated - especially if they have a two-character element symbol as the prefix. In order to track atoms within these massive datasets, the atom label is required. Some users are working with massive structures, output as "dump" files from the LAMMPS program. ![]() |
